We want to praise the Lord for His goodness, grace and mercy in our lives. I am glad that as we journey through this life, He said “I am with you alway”. His presence brings His peace, His protection, His power, His purpose and His promises into a reality, day by day. Andrew is doing well serving in the US Army. Caleb is progressing well and learning while serving in Bible College. Amy and I are staying faithful at the task set before us as we pursue the will of God for our lives.

On March 28, 2025, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck near Mandalay, Burma’s (Myanmar’s) second-largest city, home to 1.2 million people. The magnitude of the quake, resulted in intense shaking that devastated the region and was felt as far away as Bangkok, Thailand. Last report I received, over 3,600 lives have been lost and over 4,000 injured. Thousands more are still unaccounted for.

Many of our ministries suffered some damage to buildings and belongings, as most everyone lost all glasswares. Sadly, we had five of our people killed and fifty-seven of our families lost everything. We have received requests for help in so many ways, even for the purchase of cooking items such as pans and oil, rice and basic necessities. I hope to be able to send some relief to these faithful brethren. Please pray that the Lord will provide for us to be able to help these hurting people.

Please pray concerning the relief efforts as the military coup is making it very difficult for aid groups to minister to the needs. It is commonly feared that the military controlled government will be using the relief money sent from other countries through their administration, to further the military coup efforts. The military has been bombing areas around Mandalay and Sagaing where the earthquake was so damaging. The military then says that the damages are from the quake and not them. It is a bad situation. People are without power much of the time. The young people are still being kidnapped and forced into the military to fire against their own people. Only God can intervene and stop this massacre of democracy. All elected officials are still imprisoned along with thousands of innocent civilians. God is a Deliverer! He is able to deliver as He has in the past for Israel, the church and many Christian servants. Pray that this same God will do for Myanmar what no government on earth can do.

Since 2010 we have partnered with our Filipino church planting missionary in Nepal. Through our partnership a church has been established there. Nepal is the home of over 32 million souls with over 81% following the teachings of Hinduism, 9% Buddhism, 5% Islam and Christianity is sandwiched in among the other 5% of Catholics, Animists and other religious cults. While we are very happy with our Filipino servant, there is still so much work to be done in this nation.

I have been asked to come minister in their annual Youth Conference, a Preachers Fellowship Meeting, survey for a new church plant, as well as ministering in churches while there. This trip will be in May. I need to raise the funds for this as soon as possible. Tickets have to be purchased and hotels must be reserved in advance.

In order to be a good steward, I will pass through Thailand on the way there and do a survey with our church planter with the prospects of starting a new church in Thailand soon. We have already received help toward the Thailand portion of this trip. We need to raise the funds to cover the Nepal portion and then too, we will stop in the Philippines for a few weeks to have some meetings with our church planters there. This will be a lengthy trip but I think it would be best to visit all three during the same trip in order to save on overall expenses.

I have put the fund raising for a vehicle on the backburner for now because the funds for this trip are the greater need at the moment. We are asking the Holy Spirit to lead concerning who should give and how much. He knows the need and He is able to lead accordingly. Please pray with us concerning this.
