January 2025
Dear Friends and Faithful Supporters,
We departed for Mongolia on May 4th and were scheduled to arrive in the early morning of May 6th, making this one of the shortest travel itineraries weāve ever had. Wellāthat was the plan! In reality, we landed in Istanbul just 15 minutes after our connecting flight to Mongolia had already departed. The next available
flight wasnāt for another two days.
This unexpected delay turned our shortest trip into our longest one yet. However, we were thankful for the much-needed rest and the accommodations provided by the airline. Truly, āall things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to His purposeā (Romans 8:28). God is so good to us!
As missionaries, we often feel like all we do is askāask for help, for prayer, for support. But in truth, that is how we fulfill the calling God has placed on our lives. We need your help. While preparing for this journey, we reached out for assistance with several key projects. We are so grateful to the churches who gave sacrificially to help meet many of those needs. However, we are still several thousand dollars short of completing the construction of our digital roomāa crucial space to protect our computerized equipment from the poor air quality here in Mongolia.
In addition, we learned just before our departure (on May 3rd) that our electric bill for the Building of Hope had exceeded $5,000. The local utility worker responsible for reading the meter had not been doing her job, and unfortunately, the consequences
have now caught up with herāand with us. Weāve negotiated a payment plan with the utility company: $2,000 was due by May 1st (we met that deadline by mere hours), and we now face an additional $1,000 per month for the next three months, on top of our regular electric bill.

These are unexpected expenses, but we continue to trust the Lordās provision. āBut my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesusā (Philippians 4:19).
Despite these challenges, we are thrilled to be back in Mongolia. We are currently preparing to print 5,000 copies of the Gospel of Lukeāa project we believe will be well received by the Mongolian people. In addition, we are developing a journal-style book that will resemble a complete Bible. This is in preparation for printing the entire Bible in Mongolian next yearāa monumental step forward in our ministry.
Please keep usāand Mongoliaāin your prayers. Our hope is that the Lord will place a burden on your heart to help us press forward in this great endeavor.
With grateful hearts,
In Christ,

A Privilege to Host the Word of Life!
We are rejoicing in the goodness of God and are so thankful to share an exciting update from our mission in Mongolia.
During the last two weeks of April, it was our great honor to host the Mongolian Bible translation team in our building. What a blessing it was to provide a space for such sacred work! We welcomed Brother Bill Patterson, the head of the translation team, Brother Jonathan Arnold, the General Secretary of the Trinitarian Bible Society, two dedicated students from Milford, Ohio, and two faithful Mongolian sisters who serve in the translation department.
To witness firsthand the careful and prayerful labor of these men and women was nothing short of inspiring. Their commitment to ensuring that the Mongolian people can read and hear the Word of God in their own language is a powerful testimony of Godās love and provision.
As we reflect on this time, we are reminded of the words of the Lord Jesus Christ: āHeaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. ā ā Matthew 24:35 Indeed, the eternal destiny of countless souls may be touched by the faithful work accomplished within our very walls. It humbles us to think that God would use this building, and our ministry, as part of His eternal plan for Mongolia.
āSo shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.ā ā Isaiah 55:11
Thank you, dear friends and supporters, for making it possible through your prayers and giving. You are a vital part of this Kingdom work. Please continue to pray for the translation team, for accuracy, strength, and wisdom, as they labor to bring the truth of Godās Word to the Mongolian people.
Truly, āThe Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.ā ā Psalm 68:11
