Faithful Friends,

Thank you for your continued support and for praying for us in the month of May. Both myself and Carol came down with Covid in May. I have had it several times but it was Carol’s first time. She was really sick for about 10 days but is feeling back to normal as I write this letter. I was able to preach two main Sunday morning chapel services and had really good services. I had the privilege to lead three men to the Lord during the alter call.

In the Upper Midwest Bible Institute (correspondence) I worked a total of 144 hours in my office, printing 9,493 pages of lessons and mailed 633 lessons and received 575 for grading. I currently have 1,063 active students in the States of Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. I received letters this month of four (4) students that asked Jesus to save them while completing their lessons. I enrolled 31 new students and two students graduate from our Bible Institute in the Upper Midwest area.

I held eight days of classroom Bible Institute classes in May. I have a total of 27 students that are enrolled in my class. In May they turned in 173 lessons for grading. I also have 16 students in the County Jail that I work with the jail chaplain to get these lessons to the inmates. They do not allow me to mail them into the jail.

Pray for the correctional officer that I speak with while I am in the facility. Some know the Lord but many do not. Every week I bring a few Bibles in with me that are Correctional Officer Bibles. It has a picture of a badge on the cover and it says “Correctional Officer Edition” I am on my second case of Bibles. It’s a hard job to work in the prisons and many of these men and women have harden their hearts because of what they have to deal with on a daily basis but they need hear the Gospel. Every day I go out of my way to thank them for their service. Please pray for them.
