Dear Bible-Believing Pastors, Family and Friends,
Greetings from Moldova in the Name of the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world!
"Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily." -Colossians 1:29
We want to begin by saying thank you from the depths of our hearts for each of you who go to work every day, faithfully pray, and sacrifice so we can serve here in Moldova. Because of your faithfulness, we can see the fruit of the Gospel in this part of the world. Since our last letter we have seen the Lord moving in our midst. James 4:8 says, "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you." As we seek Him more, He is drawing near, and we are seeing His Mighty Hand at work.
Souls Saved and Fruit
In the month of January and February, we rejoice that 7 precious souls have trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior i n our churches: Daria, Evgenii, Nicolai, Gregori, Vica, Oleg and Valeri. Each one is a testimony of the mercy and grace of God. Please continue to pray for Daria's husband, Denis, that he too would trust Jesus Christ as His Savior. Please keep in prayer the continued preaching of the Word of God and our ongoing street ministry every Tuesday and Saturday. It is through this very street work that we recently met Felicia, an orphan girl. Felicia is confined to a wheelchair and has faced a lifetime of rejection and loneliness. When we met her, we were able to give her a gospel tract and invite her to church. After giving out tracts that Saturday, we took her out to eat. It was her first time ever being in a restaurant. Because of her condition, she brought her dog "Sammy" with her, her only friend in the world. The restaurant allowed the dog to come in, and he lay quietly beneath her wheelchair under a coat. As we ate
together, she looked at me and said, "Sammy is my best friend." She has no one else. My heart broke at the table, and later that night I wept before the Lord, begging Him to save her. Brethren, what a privilege, it is to serve our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. I was reminded of the words of Jesus: "...Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, Felicia & Sammy ye have done it unto me." Please keep praying - for Felicia that she will get saved, and for the many souls unreached, who are still weighed in the balances ready for eternity.
Prayers for our Family
Thank you for praying for our granddaughter Caraline. The Lord answered prayer regarding her treatments for the Sanfilippo Syndrome. Starting at the end of April her weekly infusions will now be taking place in Ohio at her home in answer to many prayers. Please continue to pray that her body will adjust smoothly to these changes. Most importantly, we ask for continued prayer that these treatments will slow and stop the progression of her disease. We are grateful for all of you who pray for Caraline.
Purified Word Printing International
Since our last letter we were able to print 14,100 books and 41,000 tracts. Praise the Lord our literature is currently going out to 378 towns and villages in Ukraine. Pray also for 3 new towns in Romania who will receive books. Please pray that the Word of God would find its place in each of the hearts that receives it. Again, thank you for your faithfulness to us here as we serve Him. May the Lord richly bless you with souls for your labor.
